Strategic Workspaces | Case Study

Overview

Strategic Workspaces helps align client workspaces with business goals. They have successfully completed many large and complex projects for their Boston-based customers, as well as their locations worldwide, using prefabricated DIRTT architectural walls, complemented with Kimball Office furniture.

The company strives to understand business objectives and maximize workspace potential. Masters in the art of change, Strategic Workspaces creates environments that are functional, flexible and adaptable to customers’ evolving demands.

The company’s staff has decades of experience creating, implementing and delivering client-centered architectural product and furniture solutions. Their systematic process connects the physical work environment with business objectives in order to create high-performance workspaces.

Strategic Workspaces wanted to build on the success of Bergeron Creative’s previous branding efforts on their behalf with a rebranding campaign to position them as a regional leader in prefabricated architectural products for interior spaces for architects and interior designers.

Branding

“Bergeron Creative developed Strategic Workspaces’ current branding and website, which has won numerous national and international awards for design excellence,” says Al Bergeron, President and Chief Creative Officer at Bergeron Creative Studios. “Now is the right time to bring Strategic Workspaces’ branding efforts to the next level.”

Bergeron Creative created a brand identity comprising of iconic wall partitions, forming a lettermark with their initials “SW” and the tagline, “Space for Results,” which supported Strategic Workspaces’ preemptive brand position of helping align their clients’ workspaces with business goals.

Brand imaging includes an expansive pattern formed by the company’s lettermark. In addition, we updated brand colors from blue to a two-tone orange color scheme, which appealed more to architects and interior designers.

Print

Bergeron Creative created a stationery system that brought their brand identity to life with an edgy design that would appeals to architects and interior designers alike.

We designed a folder that makes a bold statement and complements their stationery and case study data sheets. The exterior of the folder is black and features an expansive dark gray pattern formed by the company’s lettermark, which is contrasted by a solid orange interior.

We developed case study data sheets for major projects that included copywriting and design. The case study data sheets are also available for download as PDFs on the Strategic Workspaces website.

Digital

The website is the hub of this web-centric, integrated brand campaign and serves to reinforce Strategic Workspaces’ new brand. The site features a variety of interior design solutions, from corporate and high-tech to healthcare and educational work environments. The website has become a robust showroom that supports online and offline sales, and works seamlessly on the salesforce’s iPads and iPhones.

The website also incorporates a virtual experience for the “Sandbox”—headquarters of Strategic Workspaces and Boston’s first DIRTT Green Learning Center (GLC). The Sandbox is a stunning example of what can be done for sustainability in a workspace environment using prefabricated DIRTT architectural walls, complemented with Kimball Office furniture.

The website was programmed using WordPress, an open-source content management system (CMS) that features an easy-to-use dashboard interface that allows Strategic Workspaces’ staff to make timely content changes inhouse.

Social Media

“Our DIRTT movable walls and access floors allow us to get involved in the early stages of the planning process, which is valuable to our clients because our workspaces help them become even better,” says Dave Cvitkovich, founding Principal of Strategic Workspaces. “Bergeron Creative understands what makes us different and is helping bring that to the forefront of our online brand strategy.”

Bergeron Creative branded social media channels for Strategic Workspaces, including Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn and YouTube. The channels served as an extension of the website, allowing Strategic Workspaces to connect with architects and interior design with timely and engaging content.

We were responsible for community management and content development for the entire social media campaign.

Results

Strategic Workspaces continues to grow and exceed sales goals with their new rebranding campaign.

According to Cvitkovich, “Al Bergeron is a creative and strategic thinker. Bergeron Creative took the time to thoroughly research our industry and helped us to finely tune our marketing program. Our new website they developed is already delivering results!”
